Chirag Chopra is an inter-dimensional game designer with over six years of experience in leading creative teams & boasting a knack for thought-provoking games.

Chirag claims to live a double life – an Indie Game Developer by night and a Game Producer by day, and he’s also one of the receivers of the AVGC 40 under 40 title.

As an Indie Game Developer, he operates under the label of Lucid Labs and has managed to win two ‘Indie Game of the Year‘ awards at India GDC 2019 & FICCI 2020 for the game ‘Possessions‘, which is the first game from India to launch on Apple Arcade. Chirag is also fortunate enough to be a part of Google’s first-ever Indie Games Accelerator and successfully graduate out of it. Lucid Labs has appeared in a several noteworthy publications including CNET, Gizmodo, IGN and PocketGamer, to name a few.

As a Game Producer, he’s had the opportunity to build and lead multi-disciplinary teams at different companies. Chirag has helped produce games in varied genres such as puzzle, action, casual, sports, social casino and more, with a focus on data-driven design. Collectively, the games have been played by more than 100 million humans.

And when he gets time off from making or playing games, you can find him speaking at various game dev events such as Casual Connect, PocketGamer Connects, Unite, NGDC, and more. He also likes to play the drums and listen to podcasts.
